That games doesn’t have a proper name yet, but it does have a temporary project title: We’re currently in the prototyping phase for our next game. We definitely had a great time working on this title and see the world and its characters grow.īut after 9 whole years, we are ready to work on something new. Right now, there are no plans for a sequel to CrossCode. We sort of regret adding that cutscene, because the truth is: We noticed that several players are now counting on a sequel to be developed, especially due to a certain cutscene in A New Home. That means, after over 9 years of development, CrossCode has finally been completed! What about CrossCode 2? This update is pretty much the final content addition to CrossCode! With following releases we only plan to fix remaining bugs and issues. Here a few impressions of what’s included:Īctual boss enemies can be properly seen in the game! Today we’ll release another small update for the DLC Crosscode: A New Home, adding a bit of more optional content! I regrettably still haven’t found the time to embark on its huge adventure, but I plan to change that at some point this year - perhaps around the time the DLC launches. It puts a modern spin on SNES classics like The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and Secret of Mana but also just piles hours upon hours of content to explore. Nintendo Enthusiast loved CrossCode, especially following some bug fixes, and apparently most people who have played the game feel the same. CrossCode: A New Home will offer between 8 and 10 hours of new gameplay, including the largest dungeon ever seen in the game, as well as new music and more enemies and bosses to battle. “The time has come to once and for all finish the raid,” declares PR. The story will pick up right where the end of the core game left off, continuing the journey of Lea and her assorted colleagues. 26 for $8.99 and will come to consoles like Nintendo Switch in summer.
